SEAG INFORMATION

From September 2024 Strangford Integrated College will select 35% of admission based on SEAG test score.  The College will become a test centre for the SEAG Entrance Assessment in November 2024.

A Familiarisation Day will be held prior to the actual assessments so that the children can experience the environment and meet supervising staff, so that they will be familiar with the actual administration on the day.

Claiming Special Circumstances

Just before or during the Entrance Assessment, a child might experience medical or other problems which affect theirperformance in the Entrance Assessment and these difficulties are referred to as Special Circumstances.

If you wish to register your claim for Special Circumstances,you should read the guide for parents and guardians and then complete an SC form which is available to download below.

Special Provision

Special provision may be made by the Board of Governors for children who are transferring from schools outside of Northern Ireland or who have received more than half their education outside Northern Ireland or whose educational provision has been adversely impacted by serious medical or other problems and who have not taken the SEAG assessment.

Parents should download and complete the Special Provision form and submit to the Admissions Portal with their child’s application along with appropriate documentary evidence.

Each application will then be considered by the Admissions Committee for Stage 1 Grammar entry.
